3 weeks and a day have passed since my last blog entry. Remember me? Its alright, I hardly would remember me either with that amount of time that I went missing.. I apologize for my absence, work picked up unexpectedly and on top of that I have been trying to spend every available second I had that I was not working, with Ben. Why might you ask? I wrote a little on the subject last here, but Ben was offered his dream job while we were up in Northern NH a few months back (you can find those entries here under the tag NH). He is working for a Boston, MA based band called Super Prime. If you like Blink 182, you should definitely check them out! But anyways, he's their merch guy, as well as the head of their street team and currently for the time being, he's also their Tour Manager.
Ben and the guys left on Saturday for a two month long tour, the first leg of the tour, which Super Prime will be one of the supporting acts for Set Your Goals and Cartel, covers nearly all of the United States. Immediately following that tour is a tour with We Are The In Crowd and Every Avenue in the UK. So basically, once one tour ends, they literally board a plane to fly over to London for the next, and they won't be home until the first few days of May, which is right before my 23rd birthday!
So there you have it! That to me is a perfectly acceptable excuse for my recent hiatus, don't you agree? I am pretty sad I won't be seeing Ben for two whole months, we've never spent more than a month apart from one another in our entire 6 year relationship, but knowing he's living his dream and getting to travel the world for free while doing so really eases the pain for me. I've posted the tour fliers below which list the dates and locations the shows will be stopping at. Do any of my readers listen to these bands? Are you going to a date of this tour? Let me know if you are!

but with eyes shut, its you I'm thinking of

Outfit Details:
knit shirt dress thrifted
bow belt forever 21
charm bracelet juicy couture
tights vera wang
studded bow heels asos

I've been contemplating selling these shoes for a long time now. I purchased them well over a year ago from asos because I thought they were so gorgeous and different and I knew I wouldn't see another girl wearing the same exact shoe as me. But because they are european sized and half sizes weren't available, I decided slightly bigger would be better then cramming myself into a slightly smaller fitting shoe. Boy was I wrong..
Since buying them they've been sitting looking pretty on a bookshelf, but thats about it. I only slip them on every so often to admire them, but walking in them is an absolute  impossible task for me which really bums me out.. I had hoped that because of the design of these shoes, the strap would hold me in place considering they were a half size to big, but that isn't the issue at all, because they're quite high, I stand on my tippy toes and the slope crams me into the front so the heel of my foot isn't on the heel of the shoe, thus making walking in these babies completely impossible.
I am going to sleep on it though, to think more of whether or not I should part ways with them or not. Give me a few days to decide and I'll let you know where to buy them if I decide to sell. Until then, hype my latest look on Lookbook please!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Outfit Details:
scarf aldo
glasses juicy couture
oversized sweater express
jeans target
boots thrift

Look what we finally got! SNOW! Wooo~! I am sure the excitement will wear off within a couple of days, but for now I am fully appreciating mother nature turning my yard into a beautiful yet belated winter wonderland. I was really starting to be concerned with how long she's been holding out on us..
Any who, I just wanted to pop in and give a little hello & very many thank you's to those of you who've hyped/become my lookbook 'fan' recently, and also a welcome to the new readers I've acquired within the last couple of days! I really appreciate all your super sweet compliments you've given me and I promise I've been reading them all and they are greatly appreciated! I've just been a bit busy spending my time with Ben since he started a new full time job earlier this week and we haven't seen very much of each other. AND he'll be in New York City all weekend away on business (can you tell he's landed a pretty sweet job?!) so I'm trying to get in as much time with him as possible before I am stranded here alone for the weekend..
This outfit/entire look is pretty rough, haha. I NEVER wear my hair up, nor do I ever wear my glasses (yes, behold, I am a four eyes....) and thats yesterdays make up still on my face.. But I wanted to supply you guys with photographic proof that I am alive and well! so, ta-da! This is what a grungy Caitlin looks like :)

The Closest Details.

Juicy Couture charm bracelet
I've worn this bracelet in a few different outfits I've shared (here and here) and I wanted to give you guys a good close look at it. I purchased it around this time last winter and it's still one of my most beloved pieces! I typically prefer silver but there are just certain colors and outfits where silver just can't do the job and thats when I break out this beauty! I just love it!
