'Cause every place I go I take another place with me.

I told you to prepare yourselves for the over wearing of these shoes. I might as well toss every other pair that I own, I just can't see myself wearing anything but these from here on out. They're just so perfect. And I am also quite surprised I managed to go more than a month before showing this look again (last seen here). To be honest, it's pretty much my quick and easy go-to outfit that I wear when time is running short and I've got places to be without a lot of prep time. It doesn't need much accessorizing because of the gorgeous lace detail down the front, black denim works with every look under the sun, and my JC's ease this look away from being too prissy.
I really can not write much because I'm in a time crunch (but no, I am not wearing the ensemble pictured above again..) and am leaving shortly. But Ben and I are heading into Boston to see David Spade perform his stand up routine. I've never followed his career, so I am really not sure what to expect! Each year for Christmas, Ben's mom gives us tickets to see a show and each year I tend to have no idea about what I am going to see. But the shows/performances always end up surprising me and I leave the event having thoroughly enjoyed it! At least I know I loved the movie Joe Dirt, and David Spade has had a very successful career, so I am going into tonight prepared to laugh my ass off! Happy Friday!

UNDER A TREE THAT NEVER GREW ANY LEAVES

Outfit Details:
oversized sweater express

As I was editing these, I realized I haven't posted any looks of me wearing these sweaters before other than this time when I was in New York City with Ben. I bought these three years ago in 3 different colors on sale for $20 a piece I believe. Since then, Express and many other stores have been reproducing this style each season with a much higher price tag, I'm quite lucky to have gotten them when I did, they're so comfortable and have definitely become a staple in my wardrobe. Thats why I am quite shocked that they haven't appeared on my blog before other than only those two times!
But I also need to take note, that they do not photograph well ,whatsoever, when seated. Hah, I look a hundred pounds heavier since my last entry! Next time, I'll be sure to be standing as so I don't look totally fat like I appear to be here. haha, too funny..

First pair of Jeffrey Campbell's.

That package I mentioned before here, arrived almost immediately after I wrote that entry believe it or not.. I just haven't had the chance to share with you what it was because these flats literally have not left my feet since the moment they arrived.. But and if you haven't already cheated and checked out my tumblr or instagram account (Seasickness), I am so excited to share with you it's contents (drum roll please).. a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Martini Spike's! eeeek! My JC cherry has been popped! I have been lusting for these since I first saw them back in October, but they've been sold out everywhere in every size for months now. It wasn't until one late night a few weeks back that I got my email from Solestruck letting me know they've been replenished in every size and color imaginable, I immediately jumped from the couch, ran upstairs, and woke my sleeping boyfriend to let him know so he could order them that moment incase they were to fly off the shelf overnight.. I just couldn't risk it and take that chance!
So you guys better prepare yourselves, I have a feeling majority of my outfits are going to involve these beauties. I am in serious love with them, and although they're a smidgen on the tight side, I'm willing to suck it up and take the pain to break them in because there is no way in hell they're being sent back. My heart is happy and they're here to stay.
Oh and if you're reading this thinking I am a brat for making my boyfriend buy me these, he owed me a Christmas present still :) So these are my very belated Christmas gift from him. Thank you, Benny!

And I promise to fight the wind and wait for you

Outfit Details:
plaid button up shirt pacsun
high waisted shorts pacsun
tights vera wang
necklace king richard's renaissance faire
studded bow heels asos

Yesterday, Mother Nature gave us 'Shire folk some sunshine and temperatures nearing 50 degree's, I will never quite understand New Hampshire and it's bipolar seasons.. And I feel like a total brat saying this but I was incredibly happy to see the snow and ice begin melting away, I couldn't stop smiling, and being able to step foot outside my front door without nearly being blown away by freezing winds was a breath of fresh air, literally.
I have been reaching for this shirt almost every day since I purchased it, I am just so in love, which is rather surprising considering it was sort of an impulse buy since it was less than $5. But I really need to make sure I don't step foot into Pacsun for the next few months, their awesome sale they have going on is going to be the death of me, my wallet, and my wardrobe.. I don't want to be one of those chicks dripping head to toe wearing only Pacsun! Where's the fun in that?!
But, I am still deciding upon whether or not to sell these shoes, so hold tight and I will give you the final verdict in a few short days! Promise! But before I wrap this thing up, I wanted to point out my necklace! How awesome is it?! I bought it when I was in 7th grade attending this girls birthday party which was held at King Richard's Renaissance Faire in Massachusetts. Its a little nerdy, and I know this because one time when I was working at Staples, all the geeky boys complimented me on it saying it reminded them of something from Dungeons and Dragons or what have you.. It's kind of funny how quartz crystal necklaces are all the rage now! If only I had foreseen the trend back then and started making them when I was in 7th grade, I'd be loaded right no!... well, maybe..

but with eyes shut, its you I'm thinking of

Outfit Details:
knit shirt dress thrifted
bow belt forever 21
charm bracelet juicy couture
tights vera wang
studded bow heels asos

I've been contemplating selling these shoes for a long time now. I purchased them well over a year ago from asos because I thought they were so gorgeous and different and I knew I wouldn't see another girl wearing the same exact shoe as me. But because they are european sized and half sizes weren't available, I decided slightly bigger would be better then cramming myself into a slightly smaller fitting shoe. Boy was I wrong..
Since buying them they've been sitting looking pretty on a bookshelf, but thats about it. I only slip them on every so often to admire them, but walking in them is an absolute  impossible task for me which really bums me out.. I had hoped that because of the design of these shoes, the strap would hold me in place considering they were a half size to big, but that isn't the issue at all, because they're quite high, I stand on my tippy toes and the slope crams me into the front so the heel of my foot isn't on the heel of the shoe, thus making walking in these babies completely impossible.
I am going to sleep on it though, to think more of whether or not I should part ways with them or not. Give me a few days to decide and I'll let you know where to buy them if I decide to sell. Until then, hype my latest look on Lookbook please!

Sale Shopping

Purse - originally $? / marked down to $19.99 / additional 40% off = $11.99
Red Wedges - originally $59.90 / marked down to $29.99 / additional 40% off = $17.99

You know those certain stores we rarely buy from but we're still on their weekly mailing list just so we get their coupons and special sales in the off chance that we'll come across something we like AND have a coupon to use on that said item? Well Express is one of those stores for me. Don't get me wrong, I love their take on how a workplace women should dress. It's sophisticated yet sexy; they use great materials and everything is very fitted to show off the female figure without making the customer look like the office whore. It's exactly how I'd dress if I were working a job where business/business casual was the dress code.
I have shopped there plenty of times and everything I have purchased still looks brand new even after months and months of wear (Tip! If you're looking for a pair of skinny jeans to show off your lady curves AND give you the perfect butt, there jeans are the route to go. They're fairly expensive but wait for their 'buy one get one 1/2 off' sales. I promise you you won't regret the purchase!) but I have realized over time that they aren't necessarily targeting my body type. I have found that even their size 0 dresses sag off me and just look like I'm wearing a very pretty potato sack, that their jackets of all sizes make me appear to be super wide even with a sash, and most of their blazers give me that manly broad shoulder look but remain stiff at the waist so I look like a small child playing dress up in my mothers business clothes.
I've learned I can't fall in love with what I see on their website and order it, I must go in store to try it on. So ladies, if you're 5'4 1/2 and think you look about my size, I'd advise you to do the same! But anyways, I've been madly inlove with these wedges since black friday, which was when I was in store trying on that star shirt I just had to have. The deal then was 40% off the $59.90 price tag, but I am strictly a 6.5 and express doesn't make half sizes, so I was trying to decide if I wanted to go too tight or too loose.. In the end I clearly decided to just part ways and spend my money elsewhere.. Since then I have gone in several times trying to justify the purchase, but every time my conscience is right there with me telling me no way.
Yesterday before going to the mall with my sister I happened to get one of their emails so I decided to check the site to see if I wanted to go in trying to find anything specific. I found the wedges online for $29.99 on sale PLUS an additional 40% off, I was ecstatic, totally willing to buy them even with the risk of me completely annihilating my feet and never managing to wear them past the front door. My excitement was quickly crushed however when I clicked on them and they were listed as sold out everywhere. Bummed, but willing to carry on with life, so I went on my merry way to go on a shopping spree with my sister.
I have a few other items from different places that I am going to share with you later, but I dragged my sister into Express since the purpose of the shopping trip was to find her nice, all black bottoms that she can wear to beauty school since jeans/anything above the knee isn't allowed. We were rummaging through the sale bins for her when I came across the wedges at the very bottom! Only a size 6 and 8 were left, and I am so happy I found this particular size 6, because it seems like someone with a much wider foot crammed these on and stretched out the leather making them actually very comfortable. I don't think I've been this excited over a pair of shoes in a long time, and the purse is just the icing on the cake. So if you're looking for a pretty good sale with nothing specific in mind, I would definitely suggest checking out Express!
